Fall sunshine

After a spectacular fall, we've been treated to some more lovely sunny warm days.  Took full advantage of it this weekend, including a walk at Rocky Point with Colleen + family + camera.  See below.

Sharing and bathrooms

I just downloaded a week or two of pictures, and am noticing that they are almost all in bathrooms.  With two mobile kids, I guess that's the only time they are still!  Riles is also potty training, so we hang in the hotspot on a regular basis.

And then some randoms.  Its been a full-tilt workweek, with 5am Vani widers every.day. and I'm done.

This blue thing was from an exercise band (what, you ask?).  Vons' favorite toy.
Since when can this kid stand so well?  She's cruising.

A really bad picture of a really great night

 Happy as a clam.

Love this sequence below. Vani eating salami.  (remember with Riley I used to make baby food?  poor second kids)

Ohh!  This is good!
 I'll share with you Tengs!
 haha, fooled you.

Share the @*#()& salami kid!

Movember

In Canada (?elsewhere too?) in November many men grow their mustaches to raise awareness for prostate cancer and mental health.

Here's his hideousness himself.

The funny part?  He forgets how disgusting he is, and gets caught offguard looking in the mirror.  I find myself SO irritated with him when I actually look at him.  Mothers corral their kids when he comes around.

... and in July, the maternity wards across canada are eerily silent.

Up, up, and (not) away!

Photo from this morning when we dropped off my parents at their plane.

Riles was thrilled.
He had the sounds down pat!  Even Kivani was sputtering away.

Just adorable

Ok.  So Vons is just ridiculously cute. and MOVING!  You walk down the hall, and this determined little blob follows after you.  Chatting away.  Madly in love.

She still rarely smiles, but when she does ...

New favorite toy - the lids cupboard.
And at least lids don't bite.  Two seconds pre-attack.
 No teeth, but sure tasty!
What happens when you ask two two-year-olds to smile.
Home from work this afternoon. Dad making sausage/carrot/zucchini rolls.

Work life balance - what a gong show.  Night.
