I don't know if it's because we're coming up on our one year wedding anniversary or because I'm back at work in California after a long time off and am missing Simon. But, I can't stop being thankful for how fortunate we are. I just drove by our old house/garage in Menlo Park, and had the biggest smile. We were so happy there. We're able to take a time-out to enjoy each other and explore a bit. We're staying in the most beautiful place in the world. We get to spend time with our families. We are looking forward to exploring BC.
We're lucky.
