Wild coast - Eastern Newfoundland

A bit of a wilder day today. We got a taste of what I think it starts to get like (and worse) for the next 6 months here.
But our awesome troopers were right out there again. And zero complaining. Tess found us another great hike - the Klondike trail that ended on a big beach with large crashing waves. It reminded both Tess and I of the wild coast of Cape Town with the exception of the temperature, just a bit colder here!

The reason for this destination was supposed to be for the puffins. But they were long gone. Ri did though spot some brave sea birds dive bombing into the ocean. I couldn't believe there was any wild life out there!

Here's a couple good shots of the town of Trinity, Newfoundland where we're staying. They've really done a brilliant job with this little town. What a difference from the other small towns we went through. They went to that little extra effort and it really shows.
