Big progress in the garage. Si and his dad were hard at work for three days on the electrical, plus its just so much quicker when we hire someone to do the framing + drywalling. The garage door was installed today and it looks great! We may even be up and running with an office when I go back to work. Hopefully not, since that means that its sunny all next week and we take off to the lake in Vernon instead of tiling/painting:)

Garage door is in. Our realtor stopped by and convinced us that the extentions that would make the house look better on the outside (mentioned a few posts down) aren't worth it since our neighbourhood is nicer than our 40-year old house, and many are being torn down to be replaced with fancy huge houses. We call it home, but listened to him that spending a bunch of money on the planned garage extension won't add anything to resale. Either way, we now have a great place for our tools and a new office for me, without the extra expense and bigger reno we were planning for next summer.

Got together with Sujji and Melisa yesterday just to hang out, feed and eat - we all have cabin fever and new babies. Good company, and so nice that they live so close!
Random photo of our "waiting room" - where the toys the dogs destroy go to wait their surgery. I used the rainy day pumping sessions to sew them up, although Tenge seems to delight in re-de-stuffing them as soon as they are "healed". Since their surgeries, both ted and humphrey the hedgehog have lost their noses. I think next time I'll put the quacker into RedDog just to confuse him!
