Christmas and Croup

Our little boy has taken his animal noises a bit too seriously and now barks like a seal.  Oh, it's so sad.  It's been a sleepless few nights in our household.  He's been a cuddly trooper though, what a gem.  Such labored breathing.  He got some adrenalin today since it wasn't clearing up and we're hoping it will help.

We didn't get too many Xmas photos.  See below for what wasn't too blurry.  Riles love the lights and pointing out Santas on our walks, and my cousin Andrea and nan came over to help with our tree (remember the straggly branch we had last year... no more!).  Our house was festive if simple, and we enjoyed quiet times with family; still a tough time of the year.  Makes us miss those missing more.

What a gorgeous tree!

Riles loving visits with Nanny.  Springbok in training!
Tenge is just way too classy for this Chrismas crap.

At Colleens for Xmas Eve Eve potluck.  Riles and Mads were super-cute in their santa suits, although impossible to catch standing still

 Did someone say turkey?
This is approximately 10 seconds before Riley did a huge code brown in the tub.

Riles on Xmas morning with nanny over.  Somehow our tree looked like this even though we didn't buy a single present for each other.  Fortunately he was more excited to have nanny over and eat oranges.  Reckon this will change in the next few years.
Nana and Rogs came over for Chrismas day with a lovely turkey.  Riles was in his element with so much family around.

This turkey is great!  Thanks nana.

Did not know you and Colleen were pregnant together again! So fun! I hope Riley feels better soon, I'm assuming you have a good humidifier going? Poor guy. Merry Christmas Team Greatwey.
